This role goes beyond teaching - it's about nurturing a love for music and encouraging students to explore, create, and express themselves. You'll join a vibrant music department with talented students and supportive colleagues who share your enthusiasm for the arts.

• Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Lead extracurricular musical groups, including choirs, bands, and other performance ensembles.

• Guide students in exploring different instruments, music technology, and genres.

• Prepare students for assessments, performances, and formal exams.

• Track student progress and tailor support to meet diverse learning needs.

• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into broader school activities and events.

• Communicate regularly with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred, but not essential).

• Experience teaching music in a secondary school environment.

• Proficiency in at least one instrument or strong vocal ability.

• A genuine passion for music and a drive to inspire young learners.

• Strong classroom management skills and excellent communication abilities.
