Overview
Service Advisor position in Watford, Hertfordshire. Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 OTE.
Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday with Saturday rota.
- Manage customer bookings for service and repair work
- Greet customers and complete vehicle check-ins and handovers
- Explain work required, costs, and timescales clearly
- Liaise with Workshop Control and Technicians to manage workflow
- Keep customers updated throughout the service process
- Upsell service, maintenance, and repair work in line with brand standards
- Handle customer queries and resolve concerns professionally
- Ensure job cards, invoicing, and service documentation are accurate
- Work towards departmental KPIs including CSI and upsell
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident upselling and objection handling
- Well organised and able to work under pressure
- Experience with dealer management systems (Kerridge, Pinnacle, CDK, etc.)
- Full UK driving licence
