A leading recruitment agency is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join a flagship project in Hertfordshire on behalf of a Tier 1 M&E contractor.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile mixed-use development and major attraction, forming part of a large-scale construction programme. The successful candidate will play a key role on site, overseeing electrical installation works and coordinating a wide range of M&E trades while reporting directly to the on-site Contracts Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate day-to-day electrical installation activities on a busy construction site.
* Supervise and drive productivity across multiple M&E subcontractors and trades.
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
* Liaise closely with the Contracts Manager and wider project team to maintain progress and resolve site issues.
* Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
* Monitor progress against programme and assist with short-term planning of works.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and project procedures.
* Support the commissioning and handover stages of the project.
Requirements
* Proven experience working as an Electrical Site Manager on large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects.
* Previous experience working for Tier 1 or major M&E contractors on complex, fast-paced developments.
* Strong ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work closely with senior site management and deliver under programme pressure.
Essential Qualifications
* Relevant electrical background or apprenticeship.
* SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
* ECS/CSCS card.
* Strong knowledge of M&E coordination and site management processes.
