Job Summary
CLCH Hertfordshire Adult Community Services – CLCH NHS Trust provides a range of Community Services, and the Hertfordshire Division is recruiting a part‑time administrator to provide strong administrative support to the Community Cardiology Service.
You will be working as part of an administration team in a busy, friendly Community Service to support the clinical staff in the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Heart Failure Services. You will act as a first line of contact with patients and other Health Professionals, requiring a professional manner, good communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.

NOTE:
We are unable to offer sponsorship for this part‑time administrative role.
- Manage workload and set priorities each day.
- Use specialised IT systems such as Systm One (training will be provided).
- General office administrative duties, dealing with telephone queries, covering for other admin staff when required and maintaining patient literature.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all tasks.

- Good literacy and numeracy, general education.
- NVQ Admin Level 3 in Administration or relevant experience.
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
- Secretarial and administrative experience in a health care environment.
- Experience of working with the general public in a customer or client‑facing role.
- Experience of inputting to databases, spreadsheets and/or other IT systems used in an office environment.
- Experience of taking, producing and distributing notes or letters as directed.
- Understanding of data protection in a healthcare setting.
- Experience of working with patients and carers in a public sector environment.
- Knowledge of stock ordering procedures.
- Understanding of confidentiality.
- Understanding of Equal Opportunities.
- Ability to create and structure office systems (filing, stationery, equipment ordering).
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Accurate copy typing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to use own initiative to plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
