Thomas College's Athletic Department invites applications for a NCAA Division III Head Women's Soccer Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position who will report directly to the Vice President of Athletics.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all facets of the varsity women's soccer program, including conditioning, practice sessions, games, recruiting, retention, budget management, equipment, public relations and other administrative duties.
  • Organize, develop, and administer all aspects of an NCAA Division III sports team. Responsible for the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, with the ability to effectively evaluate athletic talent. Effectively evaluate academic talent to help ensure academic collegiate success. Monitor academic progress of matriculated student athletes.
  • Develop all practice and game preparation including training and conditioning program for student athletes, scout opponents, and travel extensively with the team.
  • Assist with budget preparation, scheduling, travel arrangements, requisitioning equipment, fundraising, community service/promoting the program on and off campus, and ensuring compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations.

The qualified candidate will provide support with departmental administrative duties; duties within department are based upon employee skillset and may change depending on the department's needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and previous playing and/or coaching experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
