Thomas College’s Athletics Department invites applications for a NCAA Division III Head Women’s Soccer Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position reporting directly to the Vice President of Athletics.
Responsibilities- Lead all facets of the varsity women’s soccer program, including conditioning, practices, games, recruiting, retention, budget management, equipment, public relations, and other administrative duties.
- Organize, develop, and administer all aspects of an NCAA Division III sports team.
- Recruit and retain student-athletes; effectively evaluate athletic talent and assist in evaluating academic talent to support academic success.
- Monitor academic progress of matriculated student-athletes; develop training and conditioning programs; scout opponents; and coordinate travel with the team.
- Assist with budget preparation, scheduling, travel arrangements, requisitioning equipment, fundraising, community service, and promoting the program on and off campus while complying with NCAA rules and regulations.
- Provide support for departmental administrative duties; duties may evolve based on department needs and skillset.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Previous playing and/or coaching experience required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
