Description

We are looking for a dedicated Controller to join our manufacturing team in Waterville, Maine . This is a Contract position offering an opportunity to oversee critical financial operations and contribute to the success of year-end processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting practices and financial management within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily accounting activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

- Oversee month-end closing processes and prepare relevant financial statements.

- Coordinate and support the annual external audit process, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide actionable insights to leadership.

- Maintain and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and integrity.

- Prepare and review reports detailing financial performance for stakeholders.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support strategic planning.

- Handle interim responsibilities related to year-end financial tasks and open position coverage.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with organizational goals.
