Registered Nurse (RN) – Full‑Time – Watertown Health Care Center

• Take an active role in direct resident assessment and care.
• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel in providing direct resident care in accordance with state, federal, and corporate guidelines.
• Formulate individualized nursing care plans using the nursing process.
• Assess each resident shift and implement changes in the course of care as needed.
• Assist the physician on rounds and ensure accurate communication of orders.
• Participate in training and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Utilize principles of leadership and supervision.
• Manage conflict through effective problem‑solving and communication.
• Act calmly and efficiently during emergencies.
• Prepare daily assignments of duties, treatments, and miscellaneous tasks.
• Identify potential safety hazards and non‑compliance with corporate guidelines.
• Maintain accurate resident care records and documents.
• Attend and contribute to resident care meetings, staff meetings, and in‑services.
• Teach residents, families, and staff – formally or informally.
• Dispense medication and perform treatments as per physician orders and policy.
• Notify physicians and families promptly of significant changes in residents’ health.
• Ensure residents and families receive high‑quality, compassionate service.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

• Interact with patients, families, visitors, and corporate personnel.
• Carry out tasks requiring hands‑on intervention as needed.
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, overtime, and in different units as required.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and follow dress code.
• Provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test.

• Current valid Registered Nurse license issued in the state of practice.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
• Up‑to‑date physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.
• Recent experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and supervisory experience preferred.
