About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC and Plumbing Estimatorเศ to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring competitive bidding while maintaining profitability.
Responsibilities- Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope of work
- Perform on-site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment for HVAC and plumbing projects
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information
- Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to ensure competitive bidding
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety
- Prepare and submit comprehensive bid packages, including proposals and supporting documentation
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain favorable pricing and terms
- Maintain an up-to-date database of material and labor costs
- Assist in developing project timelines and resource allocation plans
- Participate in project handover meetings with the operations team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a certified plumbing apprenticeship program
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing estimation
- Proficiency in estimation মোftware
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, building codes, and industry standards
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and ability EK travel to job sites as needed
