This full-time position completes and reviews the pre-anesthetic evaluation of the patient and delivery of anesthetic as a member of the Anesthesia Team.

• Assist with management of the post-anesthetic and recovery period.
• Continuously monitors patient’s response to anesthesia and informs surgeon of changes in surgery.
• Documents the course of care during anesthesia.
• 1 in 9 Call Rotation.
• 2 holidays per year.
• Rotating shifts.

• Master's degree from an approved school of nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Holds or is eligible for current licensure in the State of South Dakota. Certified or is eligible for anesthesia practice by the American Association for Nurse Anesthetists Council on Recertification
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required, however will provide onsite training
• Continuing education is required annually.
