Position Summary
Wage:
This full-time (1.0 Status or 40hrs per week) position provides appropriate direct and indirect patient care through provision of clerical and/or direct patient contact tasks as a Care Technician. Functions under the direction of RN or LPN as part of patient care team.
- Provides direct and indirect care to patients under direction of RN or LPN.
- Answering call lights, repositioning patients, vital signs, and assisting with ADL's.
- Stocking supplies in patient rooms
- Performs clerical tasks, transcribes physician orders, receives or directs visitors and answers telephone.
- Assists with cleaning of patient and keeps rooms, nursing station, and storage areas in order.
- Monitors supplies such as linens, utensils, paper products, or office supplies and miscellaneous items for nursing unit.
- Assists with data entry or other clerical tasks as directed and assigned.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education And/or Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CNA certification preferred.
