Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Watertown, New York
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Department: Emergency Department

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,542
• Weekly Stipend: $1,246 (Meals & Lodging)
• W2 Hourly Rate: $36/hr (taxable)

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage in a high-acuity Emergency Department.
• Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations and initiate appropriate emergency care.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
• Accurately document patient care in the MEDITECH electronic medical record system.
• May be required to assume charge nurse responsibilities when needed.
• Ensure patient and staff safety, including proper use of patient lifting equipment.

• Current New York State RN License required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Travel nursing experience required
• MEDITECH experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Critical care and charge nurse experience preferred
