• Job Title: Travel Med/Surg Tele RN / Float RN – Night Shift
• Location: Watertown, NY 13601 (Jefferson County) — New York travel nursing
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• End Date: August 12, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990-$2100/week
• Setting: Nursing Float (Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, Pediatrics) — Telemetry experience required
• Type: Travel / Travel RN / Contract

• Current, valid New York RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital RN experience;
  Coronary Care/Telemetry experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment (experienced Travel RN required)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Proficiency with MEDITECH charting preferred
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills; experience as charge nurse a plus
• Ability to perform in high?stress, fast?paced clinical settings and float across multiple units
• 100?mile radius rule applies

• Provide high?quality patient care as a Registered Nurse across Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatrics per assignment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence?based nursing practices
• Monitor telemetry and recognize/act on changes in cardiac status and other critical care needs
• Ensure patient and staff safety, including proper use of lifts and safe patient handling techniques
• Prioritize, delegate, and lead as needed; may assume charge nurse duties during shift
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in MEDITECH and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on?call rotations as required for Travel RN schedule
