- Duration: 13 weeks (travel RN contract)
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours: 36 hours/week

- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2060–$2170
- Active New York State RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Travel experience required
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
- PALS required
- MEDITECH EMR experience required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Travel eligibility: Must meet the 100-mile radius rule (candidate’s primary residence must be at least 100 miles from the facility)
- Ability to recognize and intervene in life-threatening emergencies
- Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills; ability to perform well under pressure in a high-acuity setting
- Provide rapid assessment, triage, and evidence-based emergency nursing care to ED patients across a wide range of acuity
- Identify clinical deterioration and initiate appropriate emergency interventions
- Administer medications, start IVs, and perform phlebotomy per department protocols
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently per facility standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate diagnostics, treatment, and disposition
- Maintain patient and staff safety, including safe patient handling and use of lifts as appropriate
- Support department flow and prioritize care in a high-volume, high-stress environment
- May assume charge nurse duties as needed; critical care and charge experience preferred
- Complete required competency milestones, including dysrhythmia/defibrillation and IV/medication competencies within designated time frames
