8-hour day shifts
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Weekend, holiday, and on-call required

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and aseptic surgical environment in OR/ASU settings
• Assess patient needs including clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual aspects of care
• Identify and address safety risks, including proper use of patient lifts and safe patient handling
• Interpret lethal dysrhythmias and respond appropriately
• Function effectively in high-stress situations using strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Prioritize, delegate, and provide leadership to support patient care and workflow
• May assume charge nurse responsibilities as required
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New York State RN license or eligibility for licensure
• Successful completion and passing of final exam required as a condition of employment
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and perioperative practices
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced surgical environments

• BLS required
