FLOAT RN - MS/Tele - Night Shift Location

New York

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements.

The FLOAT Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in various units, including Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Inpatient Rehabilitation. The role requires a thorough understanding of nursing principles and the ability to assess and meet patients' needs effectively.

• Provide quality patient care and assess patients' clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs.
• Recognize and address safety issues for self and patients, implementing safe lifting and moving techniques.
• Function effectively in high-stress situations and apply creative problem-solving skills.
• Assume duties as a charge nurse when needed.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, prioritizing and delegating effectively.

• Current New York RN License.
• Completed at least one successful travel assignment; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Meditech software.
• Preferred experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
