Opportunity

North Country Emergency Medicine Consultants (NC-EMC) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our expanding team of 18 Physicians, PAs, and NPs at Samaritan Medical Centers new state-of-the-art Emergency Department in Watertown, New York.

Samaritan Medical Center (290-bed, not-for-profit hospital) is the only hospital in Watertown, serving as EMS control for a population of 250,000. Our hospital features over 190 physicians in 40 specialties and recently earned Provisional Level III Adult Trauma Center Designation and The Joint Commissions Gold Seal of Approval as a Primary Stroke Center.

Practice Highlights

• Annual Salary: $380,160
• Based on 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts per month at $220/hour
• Schedule: Flexible; 12 shifts per month
• New Emergency Department: Equipped with in-department 128-slice CT scanner, standard imaging, and bedside ultrasound
• Comprehensive Subspecialty Support and a robust Hospitalist program

Recruitment Package

• $30,000 signing bonus
• $10,000 bonus after year two
• $10,000 bonus after year three
