Position OverviewWe’re seeking a highly motivated and skilled Microarray Printing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a reliable self-starter with the ability to work independently and a strong attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication skills are a must. The incumbent will be a team player, open to new ideas and with a commitment to personal development and continual learning.
Criticalskillsets
Critical skillsets for this position include experience with M2 Systems, Scieon, Biodot, Biospot, or equivalent ultra low volume liquid dispensing equipment.
PrincipalJob Duties and Responsibilities
- All aspects of existing low volume dispensing equipment and processes including hands on operation to support a nanotechnology biosensor development team.
- Developing process qualifications and training.
- Interfacing with engineers, scientists, integration engineers during the design and execution of process and equipment improvement projects.
- Installation and qualification of new low volume dispensing equipment.
- Developing microprinting processes for existing and new materials.
- Writing and maintaining process documentation.
- Verification and Validation of processes.
- Performing all other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemistry or a related STEM degree with 3-5 years relevant industry experience or master’s degree with 3 years’ experience.
- Hands‑on experience running low volume liquid deposition or microarray process equipment.
- Experience with process development and documentation activities.
- Must be able to work independently, providing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
- Direct experience working in an FDA or ISO 13485 regulated environment.
- Hands‑on experience running low volume dispensing equipment.
- Experience with development and documentation of processes.
- Experience with IQ, OQ, PQ for verification and validation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with others and work independently.
- Experience in structured problem‑solving methodology to troubleshoot tool and process issues.
- Data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical process control.
