USA Waste & Recycling is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $3000, depending on experience.
Position Summary:The Front Load Driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on specified routes. This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers and will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high‑traffic roadways, and may operate in tight overhead environments. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential to perform this job successfully.
Your Role:- Operates vehicle per Safety Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safe Health Act), and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of assigned vehicles and complete paperwork.
- Participate in all required company meetings, including scheduled training and safety meetings.
- Notify Route Manager or Dispatch of any customer complaints, incidents, on‑site service issues, or potential safety hazards.
- Identify and report all containers in need of repair or replacement.
- Effectively use a tablet to ensure the route reconciles to the service listed.
- Completely dumps containers and leaves the customer's location free of debris with container lids closed and enclosure doors closed without blocking driveways, alleyways, as well as customer doors.
- Perform all duties scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch and assists other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
- Maintain reasonable, regular, and punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Adapt to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

- Commercial Driver's License B (CDL).
- Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with an air brake endorsement is a plus.
- The CDL is a requirement; therefore, an applicant must be 21 years of age.
- An acceptable driving record is required.
- Complete pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
