Auto Body Technician

Job Overview

Responsible for body work & painting of the CTtransit Waterbury division City Transit and Paratransit bus fleet as well as support vehicles. Working in state of the art bus maintenance facility. Vehicle maintenance staff play a critical role in making sure all vehicles are safe and up to standards.

$30.00-$38.50 per hour based on knowledge, experience, and certifications. Full-time position minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Ability to change schedules every 4 months (based on seniority/time in positions, the longer you are here the better the options)

Interested candidates must have at least 5 years experience in the preventative maintenance/mechanics' field with at least 3 years working with diesel vehicles. Transit experience is a plus. CDL license with passenger and air brake endorsement required or to be obtained within 6 months of employment (Company will assist). Transit experience is a plus.
