• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is required.
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features.
• Handle returns following register prompts; collaborate with leadership as needed and follow Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and assist with stocking during store hours.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, and drive-up returns while complying with applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently or with a team.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks within time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; capable of lifts up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable and prompt attendance.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties.
