Description
Preadmission, Testing, and Teaching (PATT) is a non-bedside Registered Nurse position. The nurse is responsible for completing phone appointments with surgical patients before their procedure date. During these appointments important patient history and information is gathered and teaching is performed. The office hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 - 4:30 with no on-call hours, weekends, or holidays.
What You Will DoAssess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients over the phone preoperatively. Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
Schedule- Full Time, 32 hours per week
- On call required
Associate degree required, BSN preferred. No prior experience required. Current Iowa RN license, BLS, Mandatory Reporter. ACLS
