Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an IA or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.
Responsibilities- Assignment in the surgical unit of an acute care hospital
- 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- On-call rotation includes holidays, overnight call every 1–2 weeks, and weekend call approximately every 4–5th weekend
- Block schedules are not guaranteed
- Holidays are included in the on-call rotation
- Team-oriented surgical environment with opportunities for collaboration
- Block and set schedules are not guaranteed for this role
- Only select states offer local rates for RNs; please inquire if you are local
- Active IA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required
- BLS certification must be issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Licensure and Nursys verification required prior to consideration
