Our 20-bed unit at Waterloo Medical Center specializes in the care of orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and neuromedical patients. This unit was designed with our patients and families in mind as our wellness rooms are safer for patients, feature a pull‑out bed for families and private lobby space for visitors.

Full time

12 Hour Day Shift

Night shift: 7 a‑7 p. Every third weekend rotation.

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.

• Current IA RN license
• BSN preferred

• Mercy One Waterloo Medical Center, an Area Level III Trauma Center and an accredited chest pain center
• Mercy One Cedar Falls Medical Center, Community Level IV Trauma Designation
• Mercy One Oelwein Medical Center, Community Level IV Trauma Designation
