Purpose:
Serve as a key part of our patient care team providing daily cares.
Employment Type: Part-time
Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift
Description: This position is for any acute care/medical-surgical areas at the Waterloo Medical Center location. It includes units such as Cardiac/Nephrology, Post Surgical, Orthopedics/Neurology. All unit colleagues will float depending on patient census.
What You Will Do:
- Supports the team in identifying patient needs and implementing the outcome/goal-based plan of care.
- Assists the patient care team in the delivery of care.
- Communicates relevant clinical information to others to optimize patient outcomes/goals.
- Performs unit-based functions as assigned.

Schedule:
6 FTE; 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period. 12‑hour shifts, every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation. Night shift; 6:45 pm - 7:1apm.
Minimum Qualifications: Verification (by transcript or certification) of successful completion of one of the following:
- Nurse Aide I course
- Nursing Fundamentals course
- Nurse Aid Competency Test
