Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) – Hospitalist Team

Mercy One is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Hospitalist team serving patients at our Cedar Falls and Waterloo campuses. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional inpatient care.

Part time

Flexible shifts with a mix of days and nights; no outpatient responsibilities.

• Schedule:

• Team Environment:
  Work alongside experienced hospitalists and a multidisciplinary care team.
• Patient Census:
  Manage acute care patients in a supportive setting with specialists available for consults.
• Technology:
  Utilize EPIC EMR for streamlined documentation and communication.

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including admissions, rounding, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services to ensure quality outcomes.
• Participate in care coordination and transitions of care.

• Licensed NP or PA in Iowa (or eligible).
• Experience in acute care or hospital medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a team‑based model.
