What You Will Do- Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
- Performs daily operations of CT exams and procedures on scheduled shift, including emergency callback. Operates CT equipment safely and knowledgeably.
- Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with patients, other staff, radiologists, students, and other management. Actively listens and positively accepts change and is able to deal with stressful situations.
- Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems.
- Utilizes correct process for patient identification: right patient, right exam, right time.
- Participates as directed in QA activities, maintains current relevant documentation.
- Works collaboratively with radiologists to maintain quality in every aspect of CT services.
- Successful completion of an accredited two‑year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
- Previous CT experience preferred. CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
- Maintains active registry status.
- Maintains current state of employment:
Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License. - Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter Abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
- Maintains Basic Life Support qualification.
