The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a General Dentist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Waterloo, IA
!

What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

Role Details
  • Clinic

    Hours:

    Mon/Tues/Fri: 8am-5pm, Wed/Thurs- 8am-8pm
  • Your

    Schedule:

    Mon/Tues/Friday: 8am-5pm and 11:30am – 8pm either W/TH with the other being 8:30am – 5:30pm. One evening a week until 8PM, no weekends, no call
  • Sees on average 12-16 patients per day + hygiene checks
  • Provider team includes:1 additional dentist, dental hygienists, and dental assistants
  • Operatories:6
  • EHR: Epic Wisdom
  • Additional Duty: One day a week at Butler County site in Clarksville.

  • Competitive Salary
    : $170,000 - $188,000/year based on experience + productivity incentives
  • Contract Length: 1-3 years
  • Licensing and Professional Subscriptions: We cover professional dues and fees
  • Comprehensive Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment, short-term disability, long-term disability, and flexible spending available.
  • Continuing

    Education:

    $3,000/year and 5 days for CME
  • Paid Time Off: 20 days PTO per year, 7 days sick leave, and 7 paid holidays

    : 401k with up to 5% employer contribution
  • Malpractice Insurance: FTCA Malpractice Insurance, GAP, & Tail coverage

Requirements
  • DDS/DMD degree from an approved dental school
