This weekend option role allows you to balance your professional and personal life while making a meaningful impact in healthcare.

Role: Weekend Option RN

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Compensation: $20.00/hr Weekend Option Differential

As a Weekend Option RN, you will:

• Utilize the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of your assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Uphold patient rights and ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Must possess and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.

Experience &

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (or complete within 30 days of hire).
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit needs, including:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses)
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Other unit-specific certifications as required

This role requires:

• The ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Physical agility to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
