We are looking for caring and motivated Therapeutic Support Staff to work one-on-one with children and youth. In this role, you will support participants in their daily lives by providing structured activities, therapeutic support, and enrichment experiences that align with each individualized plan. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, being hands-on, and making a positive impact. You’ll help children and youth develop life skills, strengthen positive decision-making, and practice pro-social behaviors that promote independence and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized therapeutic support services to children and youth
- Implement structured and enrichment-based activities that promote emotional, behavioral, and social development
- Assist children and youth in developing skills that support positive decision-making and pro-social choices
- Support the refinement of pro-social behaviors that foster independence
- Reinforce positive actions and coping strategies that replace problematic behaviors
- Model appropriate behavior and social skills
- Collaborate with families, supervisors, and treatment team members as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s degree required in a Human Services–related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Sociology, or related field)
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation with current motor vehicle insurance
- Auto insurance coverage with minimum limits of 50/100
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with children or youth with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and behavior support strategies
