Overview

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Waterbury, CT area for the RN - Critical Care position. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:
Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, care of burn patients, chest tube, ECMO, external pacemaker, high acuity, intra-aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, post MI thermo care, post cardiac surgery care, post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, transplant, or vascular intervention.

Qualifications
  • ADN or higher degree in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Ability to function effectively under stress
  • Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
  • Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
  • Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
  • Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
  • Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
  • Administer medications and other treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about the patient s condition and care plan

Salary: $61,030 to $100,870 /year
