Registered Nurse FT Nights Labor & Delivery – Must Have Experience

Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT seeks an experienced registered nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. The role involves caring for pregnant, laboring, and postpartum patients, providing hands‑on and emotional support, and ensuring safe recovery for mothers and newborns.

• Full‑time, 36‑hour night shift, 12‑hour rotations (7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.)
• Weekend and holiday shifts required.

• BSN or equivalent nursing degree (preferred).
• Current RN license in Connecticut.
• BLS certification required.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, monitor maternal and fetal status, and manage emergencies.
• Deliver newborn care and provide education to parents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
