Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Insurance Agent. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in selecting appropriate insurance plans and providing them with exceptional customer service. As an Insurance Agent, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with clients and play a crucial role in their financial planning.

You will assess their insurance needs, explain policy options, and recommend coverage that fits their unique requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing insurance applications, maintaining client records, and following up on claims. To succeed in this role, you must be detail-oriented, possess exceptional communication skills, and have a strong understanding of insurance regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Assess client's insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Process insurance applications and maintain accurate client records.
  • Evaluate policy terms and conditions to ensure accurate coverage.
  • Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements related to insurance sales.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance carriers to stay updated on product offerings.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide support when needed.
  • Follow up on insurance claims to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in insurance or related fields preferred.
  • Current insurance license in Connecticut.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and policies.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications.
