Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' communication and swallowing skills to identify areas of strength and weakness
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs
- Provide speech and language therapy services to patients, including individual and group sessions, to improve communication and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current certification by the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible for certification
