Join Trinity Health Of New England as a Medical Technologist at Saint Mary's Hospital, Waterbury, CT. This full‑time position requires a day shift and involves diagnosing patients by analyzing blood, fluids, and tissue samples.
Employment Details- Employment type:
Full time - Shift: Day shift (rotating weekends/holidays)
- Position hours: 40 hours per week
- Determine normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
- Analyze blood cells by counting and identifying cells using microscopic techniques and procedures.
- Ensure operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment by calibrating, completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from a NAACLS‑accredited MT program or an associate’s degree in an Mերտml certification program.
- MLS or MT‑ASCP equivalent level certification from a professional society, or the ability to achieve certification within the first year of employment.
- Strong blood bank experience.
- Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not offered.
