The Treasury Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting core treasury operations, including liquidity management, deposit funding strategy, and financial risk oversight within a dynamic banking and financial technology environment. This role helps ensure the institution maintains strong liquidity, meets regulatory expectations, and supports sustainable growth through data-driven analysis and modern treasury tools.
Key Responsibilities 1. Liquidity & Cash Management- Monitor daily liquidity and funding positions across banking and financial technology product lines.
- Develop and maintain cash forecasting models using transaction and payment data.
- Manage intraday liquidity to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory liquidity requirements.
- Optimize cash concentration, pooling, and settlement processes.
- Analyze and support funding sources including wholesale and brokered funding.
- Prepare funding cost analysis and provide insights for short- and long-term deposit strategies.
- Monitor key risk metrics including interest rate risk, counter party credit risk, and balance sheet risk.
- Support risk governance frameworks and assist with regulatory reviews, audits, and examinations.
- Prepare liquidity metrics, stress testing, funding concentration reports, and cash-flow analytics for ALCO reporting.
- Support settlement, reconciliation, collateral management, and cash movement controls.
- Contribute to treasury automation and workflow improvements using modern financial technology tools.
- Maintain documentation, policies, and procedures supporting treasury operations and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing new financial technologies such as API-driven banking solutions, machine-learning forecasting tools, and treasury management platforms.
- Collaborate with treasury leadership and cross-functional teams to support ALCO, enterprise risk committees, and internal governance processes.
- Support initiatives that automate cash forecasting, bank connectivity, reconciliation, and treasury reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to execute effectively.
- Understanding of liquidity management, funding strategies, and interest rate risk concepts.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, regulated financial services environment.
- Strong financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to remain focused in dynamic environments.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to take ownership of a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.
