With decades of expertise, we specialize in tree removal, pruning, hazardous tree mitigation, storm cleanup, and various tree health treatments like spruce bark beetle spraying. Beyond tree care, we provide essential seasonal services, including snow removal, storm response, and holiday lighting installation. This is a full-time, on-site Senior Mechanic role located in Anchorage, AK. The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing company vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, troubleshooting mechanical problems, and ensuring the functionality of heavy machinery used in tree care and related services. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining operational readiness and equipment performance.

• Pickup trucks and smaller dump trucks
• Brush chippers and stump grinders
• Equipment trailers and small machinery

• Solid knowledge of automotive repair, diesel, hydraulics, electrical, and welding
• Ability to stay organized, work efficiently, and take charge without constant supervision
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and address mechanical and operational issues
• Knowledge of safety practices and standards for equipment maintenance
• Ability to work in a physical, hands-on role in varying outdoor conditions
• Relevant certifications or training in mechanics or equipment repair are a plus
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred but not required
• Clean background check

• $40–$50/hr (based on experience)
