Facilities Maintenance Technician

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for keeping Donlin Camp facilities operational. Facilities to be maintained include kitchen, offices, power generation, heating, bathrooms, sleeping quarters, and other facilities. The work schedule will be 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation (12-hours per day). The 2026 field season is anticipated to begin in March and run through August 2026.

• Comply with safety, health, environmental policies and procedures.
• Repair and maintain camp facilities and other structures.
• Preform preventative maintenance on necessary systems.
• Help with waste removal to include incinerator operations, burn pit monitoring, and landfill advancement.
• Monitor fuel levels daily and assist with regular fuel deliveries.
• Completes pre-shift inspection and field level risk assessments.
• Maintain a clean work area and be accountable for the proper care of Company tools and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision and may include providing support in other departments as necessary.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a vocational certificate or degree in diesel technology or related field preferred. Four years minimum experience in a maintenance related field preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, employees may be frequently required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time, use hand and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

A post-offer criminal background clearance, physical and drug screening are required. Open until filled.
