All About On-DemandYou can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM). Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.
Reliable attendance is necessary. You must respond to contact attempts and work at least one shift within 5 months or your employment may be terminated.
After being offered a position, you will attend Target Welcome orientation and participate in a short-term structured training schedule. The myTime app is used to pick up shifts you want to work.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate a service culture and deliver the guest service experience.
- Greet guests, engage to solve their needs, and assist with products and services across the store.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, services, loyalty programs, and digital offerings (e.g., Wallet and Target App).
- Assist with order pickup, drive-up, returns, and other guest services while following policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; stock supplies during store hours.
- Support cash handling and cash office processes as needed.
- De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and local regulations.
- All other duties based on business needs.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills; ability to interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to problem-solve, adapt to different interactions, and educate guests about products and services.
- Ability to operate scanners and technology equipment; comfortable with multiple devices.
- Ability to lift up to 44 pounds, with frequent lifting up to 10 pounds; ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
