Sleep Technologist Trainee – DENALI HEALTHCARE SPECIALISTS LLC
Established and rapidly growing healthcare practice in Alaska seeks a polysomnographic technologist trainee to join its team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, the sleep technologist will perform diagnostic and titration polysomnography, multiple sleep latency tests, maintenance of wakefulness tests, and home sleep apnea tests. In addition, the sleep technologist will initiate and monitor PAP therapy.

- American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR or BCLS certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient computer skills
- Effective customer service skills; social skills; age‑specific and cultural competencies
This position requires certain tests and milestones to be met within the training program guidelines. The candidate must work collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess, coordinate, and implement patient care;
Piet effectively communicate with the Medical Director, referring physicians, other sleep technologists and technicians, and administrative staff; and ensure continuity of care for the patient so that the patient’s medical needs are met.
Travel between Anchorage and Wasilla offices may be required.
