In this role, you will provide specialized, high-acuity care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. Job specification

• Deliver specialized, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Monitor patients closely, recognizing early signs of deterioration and responding swiftly with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and critical care specialists.
• Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and life-sustaining treatments by hospital protocols.
• Provide family-centered care, educating and supporting parents and guardians throughout the treatment process.
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, ECMO, and continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

Candidate requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association (within 90 days of hire).
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association (within 90 days of hire).
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
