We are expanding our Elevation Physical Therapy Department and seeking skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our growing care team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a supportive, patient-centered practice dedicated to helping individuals in the Mat-Su Valley recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, and restore functional movement through personalized, evidence-based therapy.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a key role in helping patients return to their best physical selves, whether they re recovering from surgery, navigating a sports injury, or managing chronic medical conditions.

• Assist in the evaluation and assessment of each patient s physical condition and therapy needs
• Implement customized treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Deliver hands-on care, including therapeutic exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques
• Educate patients on proper exercise techniques for in-clinic and at-home care
• Track and document patient progress, making recommendations for adjustments in the plan of care
• Collaborate with medical providers, including physicians and therapists, to ensure holistic, coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with medical and legal guidelines
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and tools

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Alaska state licensure or certification as a PTA
• Strong grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Demonstrated knowledge of trigger point therapy and pain management techniques
• Previous experience in acute care or outpatient therapy settings preferred
• A passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with patients and colleagues

• Salary: $28.84 - $38.46 per hour
• Annual salary range of $60,000–$80,000 (based on experience)
