Bus Monitor - Monday
- Friday 4.5 hours/day
- Assist the bus driver in providing safe transportation to handicapped students
- Assist the bus driver in handling wheelchair riders
- Assist the bus driver in case of an emergency
- Maintain discipline on the bus
- Assist individual students as needed
- Assist with personal hygiene issues
- Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Director
- High School graduate, or GED.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Possess a current First Aid Card
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
- Must be able to work patiently with special needs students
- Agility to enter and exit the bus using the emergency exit
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Transportation Director
- Starting Date: 03/02/2025 unless otherwise specified, 25-26 School Year
- Salary: $19.56-$24.83 hourly per PSE Salary Schedule School Year
- Hours:
4.5 Hours/day- 2.25 AM and 2.25 PM - Benefits:
Retirement (Department of Retirement Systems), medical, dental, and life insurance benefits (SEBB through HCA)
