OCCDA has a 60+ year legacy as an early learning program that strives to make a difference in our community by supporting children and families. As a staff member you will have opportunities to grow as an individual and professionally and support our philosophy of parents as the primary educator of their children.

Transport children ages 3-5 to and from our center and may cover in the classroom as needed, ensuring safe bus transportation, proper child safety procedures, and effective communication with families and center staff.

• Safely transport children ages 3-5 to and from the center according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure proper child safety procedures are followed, including seat belts, head counts, and supervision during loading/unloading.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bus environment.
• Maintain clear, respectful communication with families during pick-up and drop-off.
• Follow all center policies, state regulations, and safety guidelines related to transportation and childcare.

• High School Diploma.
• Valid WA State Class C CDL with a school bus and passenger endorsement.

• Full‑time, 30 hours per week.
• 41 weeks per year (one week off at spring break, two weeks at winter break, and eight weeks off during summer).
• Wage $22.00 per hour.
