Building Service Technician

Touchmark at Fairway Village is Southwest Washington's premier retirement community. Our goal is to enrich the lives of residents and off-campus clients by providing them with exceptional service in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Building Services Technician. Pay ranges from $24.00- $27.00 hr, depending on experience! Need someone available to work 40 hours a week - 4 ten hour shifts - Wednesday thru Saturday currently.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.

• Strong ability to efficiently assess and prioritize daily work orders while maintaining high-quality standards and exemplary customer service.
• “Jack of all trades” skillset with knowledge in:
Plumbing Electrical work Carpentry Cable box setups/IT
Responsibilities:

• Support maintenance needs for 287 homes on an 18-acre property, plus several additional buildings.

• Perform general building services tasks, including:
◦ Moving furniture
◦ General maintenance and repairs
◦ Basic electrical work and IT
◦ Painting, carpentry, drywall repair
◦ Responding to plumbing or equipment-related HVAC emergencies

Preferred Experience & Attributes:

• Experience working with older adults is helpful.

• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and energetic approach.
