Millwright Superintendent
Precision Industrial Contractors, Inc. (PIC) is seeking a Millwright Superintendent for immediate hire. This is a traveling position, PIC works coast to coast across the United States and Canada.

- Oversee, supervise, and perform daily construction activities at the work site.
- Responsible for safety, scope, budget, schedule, and overall progress of the project, including scheduling of workers and delivery of equipment and materials.
- Work with contractors to complete the project within the given budget and time frame.
- Resolve contract disputes and arrange necessary order changes.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Lead and direct the work of Millwrights.
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantle machinery using hand tools.
- Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
- Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails.
- Construct foundations for machines using hand tools, building materials, steel, and cement.
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, tools, and laser/plumb bobs.
- Assemble machinery components and attach to foundations, using hand and power tools.
- Operate engine lathe or milling machine to grind, file, and turn parts to specifications.
- Repair and lubricate machinery and equipment.
- Select cables, ropes, chains, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves according to load requirements.
- Attach load with grappling devices such as loops, wires, ropes, and chains to crane hook.
- Set up, brace, and rig hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches.
- Direct workers engaged in hoisting machinery and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Rigging certification preferred.
- Paper, packaging, and/or corrugator industry experience a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Procore experience preferred.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
- Competitive wage, DOE (dependent on experience).
