Tessera is seeking an Electrician, Maintenance who plans, estimates and performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electric equipment and components.

• Work involves installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing problems in the electrical system or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
• Replaces lamps and ballasts, cleans fixtures, repairs outlets, switches, connections, sensors, and ground fault interrupters, and performs miscellaneous electrical repairs.
• Repairs panel boards, motor control centers, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Installs or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components.
• Inspects, operates, and tests industrial equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Plans and lays out work using diagrams, drawings, manuals and schematic diagrams.
• Keep records of maintenance, work performed and cost of work.
• Portable handheld electronic devices shall be used, where applicable, in the performance of daily duties for purposes including but not limited to documenting work, timekeeping, and ordering materials.
• Restores fixtures to proper operating condition and lighting to current Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES) standards.
• This position may be subject to call-back availability based on operational needs.

• High school Diploma/GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience Commercial and Electrical Systems and Controls.
• Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Licensed by the State of Washington as a Journeyman Electrician and minimum of at least 3 years direct experience with commercial electrical systems and controls.
