Description

You will receive training from qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship.

Specific Requirements

• Citizen of the United States
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Successful Federal background check
• Minimum age 21 years
• High‑school diploma or GED equivalent
• Honorable discharge if a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Preferences

• Active state weapons permit and state armed guard certification
• At least one year of security experience

Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct functional checks of all equipment and systems at shift start; report malfunctions.
• Perform interior and exterior patrols of designated buildings.
• Patrol complex, parking areas, garages, etc.
• Random foot patrols of work areas, stairwells, restrooms, lobbies and entrances.
• Verbally interact with employees during rounds to reinforce active security.
• Remain alert for unusual, suspicious or unauthorized activities.
• Monitor personnel traffic entering, exiting and inside buildings.
• Maintain safety and security of work areas within main lobbies.
• Respond to emergency situations involving the office complex.
