About the RoleWe’re looking for a Sales & Customer Support Specialist to support both inbound and outbound customer interactions across the full order lifecycle. This role includes answering product questions, assisting with quotes, supporting business development efforts, processing orders and invoices, and assisting with fulfillment and inventory activities. Accuracy in quoting, order processing, and follow-up directly impacts customer trust and revenue, making attention to detail critical in this role.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who is comfortable talking with customers, following up on opportunities, and handling operational details with a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities Customer Support (~40%)- Answer inbound phone and email inquiries regarding products, orders, and general questions
- Provide clear, professional support to customers across B2B, B2C, and public‑sector environments
- Assist customers with basic product and ordering questions and route more complex inquiries as needed
- Maintain a high standard of responsiveness, accuracy, and customer service
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries and assist with preparing customer quotes
- Conduct outbound outreach to prospective customers via phone and email
- Support business development efforts including event follow‑ups, lead outreach, and relationship building
- Consistently follow up on open opportunities and contribute to quarterly revenue and growth targets
- Work with sales and leadership to identify and pursue new opportunities
- Maintain professionalism and consistency in all customer‑facing communication
- Process purchase orders and online orders through Shopify
- Enter and maintain customer, order, and sales data in Salesforce and Shopify
- Fulfill hardware and software orders, including printing labels, packing shipments, and preparing outbound orders
- Assist with receiving and checking in inventory from vendors
- Help maintain organized inventory records and support stock tracking
- Work with shipping tools such as Ship Rush (training provided)
- 1–3+ years of experience in customer support, inside sales, business development, or operational roles with direct customer interaction
- Experience making outbound cold calls and sending professional outreach emails
- Experience working with CRMs or order systems (Salesforce and/or Shopify preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving, small‑team environment
- Experience supporting government, insurance, legal, or professional clients
- Familiarity with fulfillment or inventory workflows
- Experience with G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
- Detail‑oriented and process‑focused
- Confident and professional on the phone
- Organized and reliable
- Comfortable juggling customer interaction and operational tasks
- Self‑motivated with a willingness to follow up and close loops
