Salary: $15.00 to $18.50 per hour
. Commission structure pays you for every transaction processed. Earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business.

A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate works with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates with coworkers and managers respectfully.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties that include standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with customers and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Willing to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance.
